March Fourth Marching Band
March Fourth Marching Band
MarchFourth Marching Band is a mobile big band spectacular, consisting of a brassy pack of saxophones, trombones, and trumpets, a raucous drum/percussion corps, anchored by a mobile and wireless electric bass. The sound is huge, melodic, and dynamic, taking audiences on a musical journey around the globe. MarchFourth writes and performs its own material, and also draws inspiration from an eclectic range of worldwide influences, such as Eastern European gypsy brass, samba, latin, funk, afro-beat, big-band, jazz, and rock music, as well as television, film, circus, and vaudeville.
Diego's Umbrella
Diego's Umbrella
San Francisco's ambassadors of gypsy rock, Diego's Umbrella captures California's cultural multiplicity with enthusiasm, humor and decadence.

These urban, gringo mariachis have performed more than 1,000 live shows, cloaked in elaborate homemade outfits. The band's unforgettable performance has visually and aurally captivated diverse audiences around the globe. Influenced heavily by flamenco, klezmer, and Latin music, Diego's Umbrella has introduced the world to a new kind of popular music: Gypsy Rock, with sounds reminiscent to that of Gogol Bordello, Devotchka and Muse.

While the origins of Diego's Umbrella date back to the 2001, with the collaboration of founding members Vaughn Lindstrom (acoustic guitar, vocals, lead songwriter) and Tyson Maulhardt (electric guitar, vocals), they officially hit the scene in 2005 with the release of Kung Fu Palace. With the addition of Kevin Blair (bass), Jason Kleinberg (violin, vocals, accordion), Jake Wood (drums, percussion) and Ben Leon (lead vocals, electric guitar, percussion), Diego's Umbrella continues to regularly tour throughout the U.S. and Europe with its heavy-hitting live show.

In late 2009, Diego's released the much-anticipated album, Double Panther, which showcases the group's unique style and energy while effortlessly crossing borders between genres.
